Brief introduction of IBS

The Information Bridge System (IBS) is a web-based platform designed by the ICT Club of St. Peter’s College Warr Girls Secondary School in Zombo District. The purpose of this innovation is to bridge the communication and engagement gap between the school and its stakeholder’s parents, alumni, sponsors, and the local community by leveraging the power of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

WHY IBS

In many secondary schools, especially in rural or underserved areas, information flow is disjointed and inefficient. Key stakeholders are unaware of important school developments, academic updates, or student performance due to the lack of a unified, real-time communication system. This gap limits collaboration, weakens accountability, and stifles stakeholder support and participation. The IBS project addresses this issue by creating a responsive and interactive website to enhance communication, visibility, and inclusion.

School Administrators

By using this platform, school administrators can foster a well-informed, engaged, and supportive school community, driving better decision-making and accountability at all levels.

Parents-students

Parents and students become active partners in education, helping to create a supportive environment for better academic and personal growth.

Alumni and sponsors/well wishers

We look forward to connect the school with its former students and valued sponsors, creating opportunities for continued engagement, support, and collaboration.
